SPRINGS

Explore some of the projects I created in my 4 years as a GIS Analyst for the Florida Springs Institute (FSI).

INDIAN LAKE

I developed this map in collaboration with my FSI teammate Haley Moody for Indian Lake State Forest. We were approached by Florida Forest Service staff to create a sign to help visitors understand the connection between Indian Lake State Forest, the Floridan Aquifer System, and nearby Silver Springs. Sign elements were created in ArcGIS Pro, Blender, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

LAND USE & THE FLORIDAN AQUIFER

I developed this map in collaboration with my FSI teammate Haley Moody to illustrate the connection between human activities on the land surface and the Floridan Aquifer. Map elements were created in ArcGIS Pro, Blender, and Adobe Illustrator. This map was featured in the 2020 Esri Map Gallery.

SCIENCE STORY

I created this story to share the science behind FSI’s 3-year study of the Santa Fe River and its springs. The story provided an in-depth look at the work being done by staff scientists and interns. I created the static maps in ArcGIS Pro and the interactive maps in ArcGIS Online (using a Mapbox basemap.) See StoryMap for full collaboration credits.

BLUE WATER AUDIT

These are just a few of the many maps I made for FSI’s Blue Water Audit Project. They were created in ArcGIS Pro.
